Google Buys Gapmider - Graphical Display Company

Google is snapping up smaller companies lately that provide a little extra touch for their different pieces of software. The Gapminder Company specializes in graphical display of facts, figures and statistics that can be used in presentations online and offline. Gapminder offers a chance for universities and other organizations to take the data that has been collecting dust over the last 15 years and put it into a pleasing graphical form. Gapminder is a non-profit organization that has had the goal of unlocking all this under-represented data, and now Google will have this opportunity.
